Intro:
This placement will be in the Digital Commerce Insights & Analytics Lab (DIAL) under Cooperate Center Global Digital Commerce team based at London 100VE Office. The team connects data, analytics, insights, actions & systems of engagement that lead to quantifiable, significant results. DIAL team members are architects of Business Impact. As DIAL EU & METR function, we lead the development & execution of the organisation’s digital capability strategy, drive digital transformation, and optimise digital capabilities across UKI, Europe & METR markets and Home Care & Nutrition business groups.

• Supporting DIAL Team Lead to deliver the Data Analytics and Insights agenda for priority European markets & key business groups.
• Supporting the business analysts to generate adhoc insights to answer business questions.
• Providing data quality checks
• Running basic data analysis in Excel
• Supporting DIAL Manager to create documentation for strategy & training.
• Helping to facilitate and organise the meetings with key stakeholders and write up
the meeting notes.

In DIAL team, we require individuals who have strong analytical mind, ability to complete a task or project end to end and organised. It is essential for our new team member have a strong interest in data analysis & digital strategy. We accept Operational Research, Economics, Maths or Engineering-related disciplines. Skills required: MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), project management, strong communication skills, problem solving, analytical thinking. Knowledge of R, SQL or Python Coding, PowerBI or equivalent is a plus. The Summer Intern in this role will gain experience in how to use data analytics & digital tech capabilities to create business impact for our digital commerce teams.
