Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 1st of May 2025
Welcome to the iTwin4Good Virtual Developer Programme! By registering and participating, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
Eligibility
• Participants must be aged 18 or over and enrolled at a university based in the United Kingdom or Ireland.
• You must apply individually, even if you are joining as a team.
• By applying, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.Programme Participation
• The programme is free to join and will run virtually, with content released weekly between the 28th of May 2025 and 6th July 2025
• Participation requires an estimated commitment of at least 2 hours per week to complete tasks.
• If you are participating as a team, they may only consist of up to a maximum of 3 students.
• If you apply as an individual, you may be assigned to a team with other participants based on availability and relevant skills.
• Participants are responsible for any costs associated with the programme unless otherwise agreed upon.Training and Support
• Participants will be given free access to the iTwin Developer Associate Accreditation, which must be completed by 15th June 2025.
• Technical support will be available through Discord and scheduled mentor sessions.
• Participants must adhere to community guidelines within all communication channels (e.g. Discord, WhatsApp) by maintaining respectful and professional conduct.
• Enactus UK & Ireland, its partners, mentors, speakers, and judges are not liable for any advice or guidance provided during the programme.Competition Submissions
• Final projects must be submitted by 10th July 2025 unless otherwise stated by the Enactus UK & Ireland.
• Projects must be original work created during the programme.
• Late submissions may not be considered for judging.Finals & Prizes
• Selected finalist projects will be invited to an in-person finals event in London on the 30th of July 2025.
• Travel costs to attend the London finals are the responsibility of participants.
• If travel costs present a barrier, students should contact Mariana at (mdasilva@enactus.org) to discuss potential support options.
• If selected Finalists are unable to attend the in-person Final Stage pitching in London, another project will be invited to replace them.
• Prize allocations:
1st Place: £1,000
2nd & 3rd Place: £500
• All competition funding awarded, must be paid into a UK or Irish bank account that is directly connected to the project.
• As a condition of receiving grant funding the winners must:
- Communciate Regularly: Provide timely updates on project progress and seek support from Enactus UK & Ireland as needed.
- Utilise Funds Effectively: Collaborate with the Enactus team to ensure efficient fund usage and acclerate project impact.
- Account for Funds: Use funds within the specified timeframe and return any unused funds.
- Report and Measure Impact: Provide regular reports on project progress and impact.
- Acknowledge Support: Reference Enactus UK & Ireland’s support in relevent communications/appropriate social media posts.
• To be eligible for the competition funding, students must have a UK or Irish bank account connected to their project. While this is not a requirement to join the programme, it is essential for receiving funding.
• The winning team will compete virtually against winners from Enactus Brazil, Canada, Germany and USA for the chance to attend the Enactus World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand.Intellectual Property
• Participants retain ownership of the intellectual property they create during the programme.
• However, Bentley Systems and Enactus (including individual Enactus countries), reserve the right to feature submitted projects (including images, descriptions, and team names) in promotional materials, reports, and online platforms, with appropriate credit given to participants.
• Enactus UK & Ireland accepts no responsibility for intellectual property infringements.Data Protection & Privacy
• Your personal information will be collected and used only for the purposes of managing your participation in the programme.
• We may share necessary information (e.g. Name, email, university, project title) with Bentley Systems and Enactus for programme operations and recognition purposes.
• Your data will be handled in accordance with GDPR regulations.Withdrawal
• You may withdraw from the programme at any time by notifying the organisers in writing.
• Please be aware that withdrawal may impact your eligbility for prizes, certification, or participation in the finals.Code of Conduct
• Participants are expected to act with integrity, professionalism and respect throughout the programme - read more on our Code of Conduct Here.
• Any participant engaging in misconduct, plagiarism, harassment, or other breaches of conduct may be removed from the programme at the organisers discretion.Amendments
• Enactus UK & Ireland reserve the right to modify the programme structure, timelines, or Terms and Conditions if necessary without prior notice. This includes modifying or cancelling awards or prizes. Participants will be informed of any significant changes as early as possible.
