Here at the Deodorant Global Centre in Leeds, you could be one of them! Our R&D centre is where big innovations such as Sure Motionsense, Dove’s skin care antiperspirant range, Impulse body mists and Lynx Gold are developed.

  • During the placement, our successful candidate will be expected to become an integral member of the Consumer Insight’s Team, focusing on supporting the creation of a world class database of product knowledge.

    You can become:

    • Knowledgeable in the different types of data collected and generated within R&D

    • A keen observer of consumer, competitor and market trends.

    • Confident in turning consumer data into meaningful insights and use these to

    create powerful stories.

    • A creator of impactful reports and presentations, engaging cross-functional

    audiences to help shape business decisions.

    • An efficient timekeeper, balancing your own work plan

    • A strategic thinker that drives their team forward with their fresh perspective.

  • We are looking for a purpose-driven individual with a passion for learning, innovating, market research and data analysis. Someone who will thrive in a team environment but can also work autonomously & effectively manage their own time.

  • We would like to hear from you if you have any of the following:

    • A passion for learning about consumers and competitors

    • A desire to learn new business and technical skills throughout the placement

    • Strong interest or knowledge in working with different types of data

    • Strong interest or knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative market research

    methods

    • Ability to recognise insights and communicate them effectively to a team

    • Background in science, social science or data analysis

    • Competent use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
