Core Competency: Empathy
VPE Challenge:
Create two empathy maps. The first one should be an engaged coach as your ‘customer’. The second should be of a disengaged coach as your ‘customer’.

This competency is vital for effective teamwork, conflict resolution, and creating a positive impact on individuals and organisations alike. At Enterprise Rent-a-Car, empathy is crucial in enhancing customer service as it improves communication, fosters better relationships, and promotes a supportive and inclusive work environment. Empathetic individuals can respond with compassion, offer effective support, and build trust with colleagues, clients, and customers.
