Participation & Eligibility

The Enactus Summer Sprint: Accelerating Impact is an inclusive, accessible programme designed to empower students across the UK and Ireland to turn bold ideas into impactful, action-oriented projects.

We encourage all prospective participants to carefully review the eligibility criteria below and to reach out with any questions via email.

Eligibility Criteria

To take part in the Enactus Summer Sprint, you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over and currently enrolled at a UK or Irish university.

  • Participate either individually or as part of a project team. (If applying as a team, one person must act as the lead applicant and main point of contact.)

  • Submit only one registration form per participant. Incomplete or duplicate entries will not be considered.

Grant Funding

Participants in the programme may be eligible for Enactus Summer Sprint grant funding, made possible through the support of R&Co4Generations.

  • To be eligible for Enactus Summer Accelerator funding, all applicants must have a UK or Irish bank account connected to their project, ideally an Enactus team bank account. While this is not a requirement to join the programme, it is essential for receiving funding.

  • All competition funding awarded, must be paid into a UK or Irish bank account. Ideally this would be the Enactus team’s bank account.

As a condition of receiving grant funding the winners must:

  • Communicate Regularly: Provide timely updates on project progress and seek support from Enactus UK & Ireland as needed.

  • Utilise Funds Effectively: Collaborate with the Enactus team to ensure efficient fund usage and accelerate project impact.

  • Account for Funds: Use funds within the specified timeframe and return any unused funds.

  • Report and Measure Impact: Provide regular reports on project progress and impact.

  • Acknowledge Support: Reference Enactus UK & Ireland's support in relevant communications/appropriate social media posts.

Terms & Conditions

By taking part in the Enactus Summer Sprint, you agree to the following terms:

  • Enactus accepts no liability for intellectual property (IP) infringements.

  • Enactus its partners, mentors, speakers, and judges are not liable for any advice or guidance provided during the programme.

  • Enactus may update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes within 28 days.

  • Participants are responsible for their own costs unless otherwise agreed (e.g. travel to the in-person pitch showcase).

  • All personal data will be handled in accordance with the Enactus Privacy Policy. Participants may be asked to opt-in to share data with their university or external partners.

Enactus reserves the right to:

  • Disqualify any entry that does not comply with the programme rules or eligibility criteria.

  • Withdraw, modify, or cancel awards or prizes as needed.

By participating, you also agree to the following:
