Who can apply?

  • Open to ALL students on an application basis (any year, any subject, any university)

  • No prior experience needed – just bring a curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to engage!

  • You must be available virtually for all three days (18th/19th/20th of June 2025) and ready to collaborate in a team environment.

Discover & Understand

  • Meet our employer partners

  • Learn about their business challenges

  • Get guidance on research and consulting skills

Day 2:
Explore & Ideate

  • Collaborate with other students

  • Research what other organisations are doing

  • Start developing your innovative solutions

Day 3:
Create & Deliver

  • Learn how to pitch your ideas clearly and professionally

  • Submit your report, presentation, or video to the partner

  • Celebrate your achievement and earn your badge

FAQs

  • This micro-internship is focused on solving real-world challenges through design thinking. You will collaborate with partners and fellow students, complete independent work, and attend 3 sessions throughout the 3 days.

  • You will submit your work at the end of the internship through a report, presentation, or video, and then reviewed by us and our partner companies. If you pass, you will gain a certification & badge of completion.

  • Whilst our Career Catalyst micro-internship are not a direct route to employment, it offers valuable networking opportunities, skill development, access to our Fast Track opportunities and connections with industry professionals that can enhance your employability.

  • Yes! Our Career Catalyst internships will be entirely virtual.

  • We recommend dedicating at least 3-4 hours per day over the three days. The programme will run with a mix of live sessions, independent work and interactive workshops.

    While the programme is designed to accommodate university commitments, some live sessions may overlap with different timetables.

  • Yes! Upon successful completion of the internship, you will receive a certificate and badge that you can add/share to your CV & LinkedIn profile.

  • Company assignments will be based on availability and which industries you are interested in. While we can’t guarantee that you’ll be paired with you top choices, we’ll do our best to match you with companies are similar.
